Introduction

MINOS consists of multiple modules. Each module has a specific purpose in the microsimulaton. Most are transition modules that evolve some subset of the population data frame forwards in time. Others are more specialist and handle issues such as population replenishment and interventions.

Transition Probabilities

Each of these modules utilises a series of transition probability models in order to predict future state for individual households and people within the MINOS population. Discussion on each module used within the MINOS model is provided here including justification for included predictor variables and model structure as well as validation and uncertainty quantifiction.
